Why Members Leave the Seventh-day Adventist Church by Standish

The authors have developed a great concern for the terrible carnage of members in the Church. When they were children in Australia there was great concern because 30% of children born into the Seventh-day Adventist homes were choosing to walk away from the Church. By the time they reach into their twenties, they learned that 50% of such young people left the Church. However several years ago they were staggered that a value-genesis study revealed the startling fact that 81% of the church's youth were abandoning the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia and New Zealand. They also learned that an alarming number of members who had been added through evangelistic outreach soon thereafter walk away from the Seventh-day Adventist. The authors discovered that there were many different ways that Satan has found to achieve this deplorable situation. They address divine solutions to this dilemma.
