In this book, Colin Standish has presented short accounts of some of his airplane witnessing experiences in the hope that they may inspire you to find effective ways to witness. You may say, I rarely (or never) travel by airplane. Do you travel by bus or train? Opportunities will open to you. However, you may find other ways in other circumstances to witness to strangers, such as at the supermarket or in your workplace, where you meet not only fellow workers but also those who interact with your place of business, whether they be customers, salesmen, or visitors of other kinds.
You may simply be responding to a greeting such as, "Good morning, how are you today?" Instead of saying, "I'm fine. How are you?" why not reply, "God has already greatly blessed me today. I hope He is blessing you too." Or someone may tell you that things are not going well for him. Instead of responding, "I'm sorry to hear that," why not respond, "I will pray for you that God will help you in your delimma." If we think about it more carefully, there will be numerous ways we can introduce Christ into our conversations. From some of these we may be able to develop a practical way to witness further and by God's grace lead a soul to the heavenly kingdom.
