New Theology's Grim Harvest 1956-2006. It is the Mount Carmel era in God's Seventh-day Adventist Church today. The words of the prophet Elijah, whom God translated, echo in our ears once more.
The parallels of that era and those of our day, almost 2,900 years later, are remarkable. Apostasy all but destroyed God's earthly church. Most of the priests (denominational workers) and most of the prophets (self-supporting workers) either promoted or assented to the widespread apostasy. IT was the time when the Elijah message was urgently needed. God possessed a very small remnant of His Church who remained true to God's faith. Further, it was a time when one man so walked in obedience to God's commandments that he was fitted for translation. Elijah was a type of the 144,000.
In this parallel era, with the Omega of Apostasy rampant in God's beloved Church, the authors have provided carefully documented evidence of this apostasy upon every inhabited continent and in the highest echelons of God's church.
Writing from their life-long experience as devoted Seventh-Day Adventists, the authors have not only documented a vast body of evidence of the severe deterioration of faith and practice in our Church, they have also pointed to God's true Truth.
Never in any book, outside Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy, has a volume been written which has set forth so clearly the manifest departure from God's pure Truth by His church. The chapters are brief, only one exceeding two pages. But each, alone, is an urgent call for reform in the power of the Holy Spirit. This Elijah message is urgent. It is time to open the eyes of the spiritually blind. Under God's guidance, it is prayed that this book will achieve this aim in the hearts of sincere believers as each prepares for translation.
