In the Methods of Grace, Flavel thoroughly outlines the work of God's Spirit in applying the redemptive work of Christ to the believer. Readers will search their hearts and find their faith challenged and enriched. In the true Puritan tradition, a clearly defined theology is delivered with evangelistic fervor, by an author urgently concerned about the eternal destiny of the human soul.

REGARDING CONVERSION TODAY
this is a book describing how the puritans understood the work of conversion in the soul. there is no "asking Christ in your heart" or walking down the aisle in this book . no one in the bible ever asks Christ to come into ones life, which is what most liberal bible believing churches teach today. this is a complete book on conversion. it is well worth reading to measure your own "conversion".
