This is a fascinating book that will challenge the reader to consider two very serious problems with modern translations: first, the use of corrupted Greek manuscripts, and second, translational bias. While they are deeply concerned about the paraphrases and some of the efforts to translate the Bible into colloquial language, they are also deeply concerned about the more respected translations that are gaining great acceptance in today's society. The authors believe that the modern translations are designed to reinforce false teachings and erroneous gospel presentations, and therefore are dangerous to the soul salvation of men and women.
