This book examines what current research is discovering about the benefits of plant foods and how this fits into nature's design plan regarding optimal body function and health of body, mind, and spirit. It also explores the criteria one uses to make food choices, and how what we eat becomes part of a much larger view of the way we see the world and our place in the scheme of things. Susan Jen has a Masters in Public Health Education from Loma Linda University, and has worked in every area of health education from private medical clinics and hospitals to public health departments and school systems. She also has an M.A. in Educational Counseling. Her primary interest is that people be given the information they need to make choices which will assist them in attaining optimal well-being and fulfillment of the individual aspirations and potential.
